I remember seeing this coop last year? Didn't you post it then, too? It's neat to see the transition of the flower beds from summer to Fall. Congrats on your win! It really is a beautiful coop and the landscaping really makes it more dramatic. Those sunflowers are amazing!

What are you using to latch the doors shut? I can't zoom close enough. Are they carabiners?
I am obsessing over raccoon-proof latches. Thanks.

Yup, they are carabiners. The doors actually shut quite tight without them, but I'm like you, I obsess over keeping the coop as predator-proof as possible.

Love your coop and the sunflowers!!!

I am building a new coop and run and had thought about putting sunflowers along the south side of the run. Now, I am DEFINITELY doing it!!! Thanks for the pictures!!!

What a nice coop! My coop run has a big south side. Why didn't I think of the sunflowers? (Slaps forehead)
The hens are always looking for shady places.
I think I will plant them in groupings near the garden too. They can use them when the free range.
