Hi all,

Thank you so much for the add, I have watched this site for years but never signed up so here i am.:D:D

I have had either point of lay or more recently rescue hens for 10 years, always just 3 or 4.

I am wondering because i can not keep a rooster, can you buy fertile eggs ?

I live on the Sunshine coast Qld, anyone know "a guy"?

You probably can, but will need either a broody hen or an incubator to get the eggs to hatch. You could ask at the feed store if they know anyone who has fertile eggs. Maybe put up a notice on the store's bulletin board.
IF you ever see homes with signs that advertise eggs for sale, you could ask them if they have fertile eggs. You may have to get creative in how "a guy" is found. Good luck!

I bought fertile eggs online with very good result, but I picked someone with lots of positive feedback and very little negative. Remember, if you hatch eggs, you WILL get roosters.
