Can I cut Silkies feather on back to get poop off?

Ohh. I though it was no bet butt. Did she get pooped on while she was roosting? You will probably just wan to cut the feathers then, because it seem slick bathing to get poop off her her back would be unnessasary. Good luck with her, Avery
Thank you. Yes, she sleep under her two speckled Sussex sisters and I assume that’s how it happened. But I just noticed it and it’s all dried out already and stuck.

It’s actually on her back and she is about 13 weeks old.
Thanks.

How bad is it? Got pics?
I usually don't do anything when a chicken gets pooped on, they can preen it off themselves.
