Can I eat eggs from birds w/myco plasma???

My birds are positive can I eat eggs. How long will they live with this diesese. We are tring to deciede what to do.

Yes you can eat the eggs.

Most birds will recover, but can be carriers, not all are. Some birds will not recover and will be sickly. Those are the ones you want to cull.

Unless your State is Mycoplasma free, I do not believe you are required to cull. I would just be careful to not carry it off your property and not sell hatching eggs, chicks or your birds.
