Quote: I grew up in Illinois (Homer, Lockport, Joliet, Chicago, Downer's Grove, Lemont, the list goes on)! I went to Chicago often, lived there briefly! My grandma and grandpa's farm was in unicorporated Lockport (on Bell Rd), they call it Homer Glenn now. There was farm property on the outskirts of town there, and it was close enough to the town we could still go and do a lot of things. They sold the farm and all the property to a church. The church turned one of the barns into the worship area the little house is the daycare center, and not sure what they did with the rest. They kept the house for the pastor/preacher (not sure what he's called) to live in!
