Can I feed back this soft shelled egg?

One of my EEs laid her first egg and it was a soft shell. Its pretty sturdy but they did push it out of the nest onto the floor. Can I cook it up and feed it back to them or should I just toss it?

If you feed it back to them, mash it up so it does not appear to be an 'egg'. No need to encourage egg eating.

x2, I'm careful about feeding eggs to chickens so that they don't figure out how to continue with that. I put any wierd eggs in my dogs dinner. They love this time of year. But yes, you can cook and feed to chickens if you don't have dogs.
