can i feed my chicken burnt lasagna?

HI uH SO my mum left to go to the city and she told me to turn off the oven in half an hour but i left it on for like two hours because im a dumb dumb. I just saw and there was a layer of black on top and i have been able to salvage what was underneath but i was wondering if i could dispose of the evidence by feeding it to the chickens? I have no idea when my mum is coming home and this is a matter of urgency because this is for a dinner party tonight and if she sees what i did she will freak. :/

I think the layer on top is mostly cheese and a bit of bolognese and maybe some of the pasta sheet? but its gone so black you cant even tell yikes

I toss all unwanted food to my chickens. They always make everything disappear. I have around 90 chickens, so your mileage may vary if you have less birds.

If it’s so burnt that it has no nutritional value I wouldn’t feed it to them. They may not eat it.

That's funny!! You ask, can they? the question is will they? Did you try? I'm sure that has oil content that I know Bad for your chickens. I f your gonna ask for my opinion, I think you need to pass.

I’m curious if they ended up eating the burnt cheese! I feed my chickens leftover lasagna whenever I make lasagna, but the one time we burned lasagna I didn’t have chickens, so no experience there.

they gobbled it all up in a flash for anyone still curious! we have 22 chickens so it was a given that it would be gone but i just wanted to double check if it was harmful. they seem healthy and fine and it was a one off so nobody needs to know about the incident of the burnt lasagna. that is a secret me and the chickens will carry to the grave
