Can I feed my chickens kale?

Kale safe,spinich no. Spinich very High in oxalates,stops hens from absorbing calcium.Kale low in oxalate.Its safe.
Kale has calcium they can absorb,and very high in carotene, yolks are deep yellow with kale. Mix with lettuce greens so they eat it. Kale a little strong tasting.
I put gold flaxseed on wet greens,to add omega 3 for people,in eggs.

This thread is from 13 years ago! But what you are saying is correct. My hens love love kale and I give it to them 2/3 times a week.
