NO you cant feed ducklings medicated chick food. You need to buy an all purpose chick food made for chicks, ducklings, quail, and all that good stuff.

Yes, as long as it's "medicated" with amprol/amprolium it's fine for your ducklings. I raise my call ducklings on medicated chick starter and they do fine on it.

I say NOOOOOO.Raised ducks last 5 years.A little for a day or so temp. feed wont hurt but....Yep Cand cause lots of problems/paraphelgia,angel wing's, internal bleeding and death.I lost 45 duckling's once to medicated feed never again.

Although certain medications can be used for ducklings, I'd advise against it . Amprolium and a few others are OK to use for ducklings.......other medications are highly toxic to them. Chicks tend to pick at their food......ducklings, on the other hand, tend to shovel it in. This makes it easy for ducklings to overdose on the medications in the stater, even Amprolium. I'd use the starter you have sparingly(you can add oatmeal to it--about 20%) until you get a non-medicated chick starter or gamebird starter. I've raised hundreds of ducklings over the past 8+ years.
