Is there something wrong with the dogs eyes? Cataracts or cancer? The photo looks strange. One red eye and one green/yellow eye. Or is it possible that the light was at a strange angle?

I remember reading an article about someone seeing a photo of a baby with eyes that reflected light in a strange way and realizing that the baby had some kind of rare brain cancer.

nope- nothing wrong with "paco's" eyes-Im just not a good picture taker! hahaha-he's 7 and healthy as a baby horse...

Our Chihuahua loves dirty panties, too. If we don't immediately put them in the clothes hamper when we take them off, he will drag them off and lick them! Ewwww!!

Our Chi also loves to sniff butts. My husband says he feels like he is being molested by the dog at night because every time we turn our backs to him, he sticks his nose right up in our crack!

I just turn away from him, but my husband is so bothered he has started wearing a 2nd pair of shorts to bed.

DH is terrified of our dog too. I think it might be the idea of those big teeth (our dog is 60lbs) getting a little too close to those tender man parts. It really gives him the willies!

She likes to eat the crotch of my panties too, but his dirty undies are so stinky I think it scares even the dog away! That man sweats bucketloads!

my pitbull mix is the sameway with underwear. but the nastiest thing he ever did was attempting to lick my son's butt clean after he did his morning business. i heard my son laughing in the bathroom i went in and there they stood. yes very nasty. i guess i need to give my son lots of minced garlic. lol

Thanks for the tip. I will try it because the poop eating makes me sick!

What's worse is that he is a very sweet, loving dog who also loves to lick people on the face! He will even get you on or in the mouth if you are not careful!

Just be extra careful with garlic. I'm really surprised that your vet told you to do this. I have heard of different foods to try, but not garlic. I took this directly off the ASPCA website:

Onions, Garlic, Chives
These vegetables and herbs can cause gastrointestinal irritation and could lead to red blood cell damage. Although cats are more susceptible, dogs are also at risk if a large enough amount is consumed. Toxicity is normally diagnosed through history, clinical signs and microscopic confirmation of Heinz bodies. An occasional low dose, such as what might be found in pet foods or treats, likely will not cause a problem, but we recommend that you do NOT give your pets large quantities of these foods.

OK prepare yourself. This the grossest ever. My dauchshund loves poop as well, and panty liners out of the trash, dirty diapers from the trash, and of cours the chicken crap. As soon as that chicken crap hits the ground my pug puppy and dauchshund race to get it.

So when I first got my dauchshund as a 4 month pup, I let her in from being outside. Well I guess she was eating feces again. Next thing I know she barfs all over my couch, and it was poop. Throwing up poop. How could it get any worse?

Good thing I had a microfiber couch with removable covers.

garlic is a natural way to prevent fleas on dogs? That's what my vet said a while back for my lab-I would never give my dogs whole garlic cloves but I have made them homeade dog biscuits with bacon and garlic-

I feed my dog brewers yeast and garlic tablets - made for dogs. That way I can be pretty sure she's getting an amount that has been tested and approved as appropriate for her weight. I originally got them for her dry skin dandruff (it's the only thing that works for her) but it has other benefits as well.

It's not just Chihuahuas. And I do believe the thing about the inefficient digestive systems of chickens, because cats reportedly have the same issue and it is those two species of poop that my dog, a poodle mix is obsessed over. She'll ignore cow poop, horse poop, everything else we pass by.

Cat poop and chicken poop are delicious. With 10 cats we have quite a set up in the house to prevent the dog from attaining any cat poop, although every now and then she manages. Then she knows she's in trouble so she does her submissive routine, which involves climbing all over me and licking me with her scented breath to try to appease me.
