Can i feed watermelon to 6 day olf chicks..?

My chicks were hatched on july 9th and i got them july 11th, i was just cutting up some watermelon and can fee watermelon to them at 6 days old.. They are only on start and grow, no sand or grit yet in the pen..

ok thank you i just wasn't sure with our grit or sand in there.. i figured it was just like water and wouldn't need the grit.. thank you so much

I would feed watermelon to my chicks, but I do have chick grit available to them. I let them outside at a week old if it is warm enough.
