Can I file a complaint??

honestly, i'd be careful with that. my ex boyfriend lived in an apartment when we first met like 2 years ago.. and the lady who lived there before him and his (stupid) friends i guess never changed her address. they used to get her mail all the time and they just started throwing it away... they got sued.

sued for what exactly??? It's not MY responsibility to update someone else's address. Neither is it MY responsibility to update my client's information in the company computers. I'm pretty sure I could win that court case without a lawyer

If nothing else
Trash/burn the mail and claim you never received it

I think that's what I'm gonna do. I have enough hastle without spending extra time standing in line at the PO

i think for tampering with someone's mail. i guess it was bills and they just threw them away.. idk too many details, cuz he's not an open person and thinks he's independent lol, but i know he got sued and he was really mad.

You don't have to spend time at the PO. Just write return to sender, not at this address and put it back in the mailbox. I once got a nasty note from the IRS for the previous owner of our property. This was at least ten years after we had bought the place and at least six years after he had died.... I just wrote "opened by mistake" and sent it back.
