I don't think male grouse are as aggressive as roosters so you could probably keep them with other birds. I'm not sure where you would find them, though. I tried to look them up awhile back but they are protected in my state. I used to see a bunch when I went camping and I tried to find a clutch of eggs to no avail. They are neat birds, if you do get some I'd like to hear about it.
