Hi! So, I currently have one chick living alone with me, and I know that it's not really the best idea to have chickens alone, so would I be able to get one of her siblings from outside? The siblings have lived with their mom all their life while I've had this one since day 2.

The chick was originally separated because I've noticed the owner of all of the chickens doesn't take care of them as much as they need to, and I didn't feel comfortable taking them all so I started with one. Now, my chick is healthier than the ones kept outside, so I do want to raise more. It was more of an experiment to see if I could keep the chickens healthier, and it turned out okay.

So what you are saying is that you stole a chick and now you want to know if it is okay to steal another one?

I did in fact ask to take one. They wanted to see how it would turn out too, and the owner has said all of the chicks are mine even though I only took the one. She checks in regularly on the chick to make sure it's okay and even provides me with the food. Sorry for the misunderstanding, I probably should have added that

I figured this was a bit of a joke....made me chuckle.
..and maybe a best guess(haha) due to this statement: "because I've noticed the owner of all of the chickens doesn't take care of them"

Tho keeping one chick is not taking very good care either....are you new to keeping chickens @best-guesses ?
