Oh gotcha! Didn't know that was a thing! This is only my second batch. HeheThat one has pretty clear crescent facial markings, so I would guess hen.
They are two different birds. The first one isn't the best picture, he's in my grow out pen so I'm not as concerned with that one.Are they different birds? The head markings look different, but it could be the angle. 1 looks male, 2 looks female. The first pic looks definite male, due to the head markings, male Italians tend to have lighter head markings, particularly around the neck and back of the head, and they turn black or dark brown as they mature.

The second one was hopefully supposed to be a hen in a breeding group so I was hoping that was a hen! Lol
