Can I Get My Chicks Sick?

Thanks for the quick responce! Was a little worried there. :) Thinking of letting the chicks out side for the first time today, for 15 minutes. They are one and a half and two and a half weeks old. It’s 70 degrees and sunny out right now but, the ground is a little wet because a sprinkler problem we now have fixed. Is it safe for them to get a little damp? Thanks again!

They are much hardier than you may think. I've had broody hens take week old chicks out foraging in light rain plenty of times. If I had to wait for it to be completely dry, none of my birds would ever get outside.
I agree with you Junebuggena. However Orpdotes is dealing with sick chicks and one chick already died. There's no need to make a bad situation worse until the chicks are fully recovered. Here's the link:

Thanks for the concern and takin the time to consider my situation! It actually means a lot! You guys are the best! My sick chick has made a 100 percent recovery at this point! :) She still sleeps a little more often but I think that’s just her personality. This is their fifth day on corid don’t even know if I should do seven at this point. Again thanks again for all the help!
