Can i give a broody hen 2 week old chicks to adopt?

i think shes pretty desperate! lol shes sitting on the little plastic containers inside kinder eggs right now!

It might work... Why not try? Just be sure to supervise.

she might take them, your problem will come from the chicks not taking her. Once they are a few days old, I have found that hand raised chicks dont tend to take to a hen (no matter how much the hen wants them) good luck

Is that the impression time that the chicks are missing out on?

i gave her the chick last night and i think they adopted each other... the chicks hide in her every time i opened the coop this morning

were these chicks two weeks old, or were they week old chicks?
