I got two baby Blue Swedish babies and they get a mix of chick starter and all flock feed, along with some niancin, Bragg's vinegar and a little dried oregano in the water. We gave them a few pinches of meal worms and now they go crazy when they see us for more :D Is it ok to give them around a 1/4 cup a day for the two or is that too much? They are eating plenty of food, I know not to give them so much that it replaces the feed.

A 1/4 cup maybe too much to start may 1/8 th cup it will make their poo really stinky [protein] I give my new babies meal worms too but not too much to start. How old are your ducklings and where are the pics ;)
They were hatched on the 13th. We were shocked at how quick they latched onto the worms. I am beginning to think meal worms are a kind of addictive drug to ducks :) I think I will get out a measure cup, my husband and I are not good at tough love. I will get pictures and post, they are of course cuter than heck

I will have to try and get some without the heat lamp on as they are very red looking pics. But here are my baby anconas from last year.

They are adorable do you still have them?
Yes they are all grown up. they have their own house to go into at night and 2 ponds to swim in during the day. At night they come up to our window to let my husband know they want their treat and go to bed. If we leave in the day he just yells at them to go to bed and they march up the hill and into their house and pen. Of course they get treated with mealworms.
