Can I give my chickens any bugs/what to avoid?

If we find beetles, caterpillars, etc., can we give them to our 7 week old chickens? Is there anything I should avoid, bug-wise? I don't want to give them anything poisonous. I'm also not very good at identifying various bugs and caterpillars.
