Can I give my chickens the rest of the compost in barrel?

I have a round compost barrel, that’s only been used for food scraps, and browns and greens. It has a ton of grubs and worms. I was going dump it out and give it to the chickens, but is it safe? I just wasn’t sure with all the different kinds of bacteria in there…?

It wouldn’t be safe as they could eat moldy food and quickly die.

I pick through the compost to get the grubs out with gloves. Not for everyone but it’s safer.
