Your chicks can start trying out different foods, as they would if raised outside with a broody hen, but they also need access to small sized grit. Mary

I would give them smaller worms than most nightcrawlers unless you want to chop them up? And yes, like Folly said, you will need to give them small grit so they can process it.

We have grit ! And hey wouldn't eat it anyways .... I shall get mealworms
