My chickens came down with a respiratory illness. I have been giving them Duramycin-10 for one week some show improvement others not really. Duramycin was the only thing I could get for my feed store, I have since ordered Tylan soluble powber and was wondering can I stop giving the Duramycin-10 and start the Tylan or do I need to have a withdrawal time between the two? Any help would be great Thank You..

I'm not entirely certain, but I don't think it would be a very long withdrawl, if there even is one. You want to get rid of this bacteria while it's still weak from being pummeled by the Duramycin.

I do know that you can give Duramycin-10 for longer than 7 days. That's actually the minimum. If it seems to be doing the job, you could do it for another 3-7 days. It works a lot slower than Tylan.

Sorry I can't answer your question completely. Here's a bump so someone who can finds this thread!

Good luck
