I would just go to your local courthouse and check the ordinances, it's really not a yes or no question because if they are allowed I'm sure there could be a limit on how many you can possess, or whether you can have roosters, etc. Find these statutes yourself, and make copies before you invest your time and money, please don't take someones word on the issue.
