I have two one month old ducklings and I am in a bit of a predicament as my family is going on holiday and I can't bring them so I was wondering if I could have them in a coop outside with hay in the bottom to keep them warm and have someone come to fill their water and food? The lowest the temperature gets here is 15 degrees Celsius which is in the middle of night to early morning and then during the day it's 25 to 28 degrees Celsius. Do you think they would be okay outside?

Ducks are slower to feather, but are much hardier than chicks when it comes to handling cool temperatures. They should be fine in those temperatures 15c=59f. Make sure the ducklings have shade to keep cool during the hotter part of the day. Ducklings can easily get to warm.

I have raised pekin ducks and they were able to go out full time with a heat lamp for them at a month old
