Can I have pure Plymouth Rock?

Hi! I'm thinking about getting some Plymouth Rock hens. I already have a rooster, I don't really want to get another PR rooster in case that they fight. But then how can I have pure Plymouth Rock chicks? Is there any other ways?

The only way is if you have a BR rooster. You can separate the roosters though and only have the barred rocks together so the roosters won't fight. Obviously that would mean building a shelter for them.

Unless you were to do artificial insemination or something but although possible is not exactly a good option for someone just wanting a few barred rocks.

Let say, if I get both hens and a roo, I will have totally 10 hens and 2 roos (ratio 5:1). Will the boys fight if I let all of them free range?

I don't understand what you mean by it's not a good idea to keep a few of Plymouth Rock???
