Okay, I got the gist of chicken math right away and it has hit me big time. What started as "I want a few chickens for me and my family" has turned into alot of people in our new town saying we will buy from you. So I started looking at things a different way. And what they really want is a rainbow carton. So I added more, this is what I have ordered.

Hatch date the 6/16
Pullets:
2 - Lt. Brahma
2- Welsummer
2 Golden Laced Wyandotte
1 - Barred Rock
1 - Easter Egger
2 - Black Marans
1 - Blue Maran
1 -Lt. Brown Leghorn
1 - Blue Orpington
1 - Ameraucana

Roos
1 - Salmon Farvorelle
1 - Lt. Brahma

Hatch date 6/23 ( I am constantly watching trying to get these four over to my 6/16 hatch date)

Pullets:
1 - Cream legbar
1 - Ameraucana
1 - Lavender Orpington
1 - Olive egger

My coop and run will be big enough, but I am think I need to cut a few. Suggestions? At this point I just feel confused!

one realistic idea might be to get rid of 1 or both roos if u just want eggs and don't care if theyre fertilized or not

Really want at least one roo, if it was only one which one? Or what other breed, one that will take care of the ladies

At this point you should keep the Roos in separate little coops until you get ret of a few chicks or hens buy selling them you could try Craigslist put a few chick on the website if that doesn't work you could try advertising on websites- I wish you the best luck!!

Why do the Roos need to be in seperate places? And I have none of them and I have 5 days I can adjust my order and get fewer. What about the girls? What would you keep what would you take off the list? I would like to reduce by 3 or 4 just not sure where to start

I don't know but really all you need to do is get rid of the ones you really didn't need but just thought they looked cute

I guess that is where I am lost, with this changing to selling eggs, of those what is good to keep?

if u want to just keep the best egg layers and get rid of the breeds that are not known for laying, then I think the breeds to get rid of are the brahmas.
I say these because though brahmas are not bad layers, they are not as good as the other brown egg layers u have listed.
