Can I have standard chicks and bantams shipped together?

I want to put my order into Ideal and have never had standards and bantams shipped together and I was wondering if it is OK? I was thinking that the standards might squish/suffocate the smaller bantams but then again they are only in the box a short time. Has anyone ever done this?

I didn't think bantam chicks were all that smaller than standard chicks. Maybe someone will correct me on that. So, they should be good for shipping. If it is a problem, I doubt Ideal would go along.

Call Ideal and ask them since they will have the shipping policies.

I have heard they can get squished to death.

They ship together just fine. They put seperators in the box so that the little guys aren't in with the bigger ones.

Mine shipped just fine matter of fact one of the silkies was hanging out under a packing peanut didnt see him till the packing peanut was moved.

BTW she is a very heathly little thing!

I always get my bantis and standards shipped together without problems. Even the banti OEGBs and Japanese.
