Can I house drakes and females together?

Hi! I have 7 duckling ranging from 2-4 weeks old. I’m not sure how many drakes I have yet but I was wondering if they’ll all be able to be housed together or will I have to separate the ducks from the drakes?

They can be housed together. It is usually easy the first year, but the second year when their hormones get going you may have problems if there are to many drakes to girls. It also really depends on your drake to. My one boy Courage is being a very nice drake so far to his one lady. But that from what I read isn’t the normal.
So while they are as young as yours are you should not have a problem.

You won't need to worry about them fighting till they are much older, You should be fine if you have a correct male to female ratio 1 male for every 4/5 females.

Definitely make sure you don’t have too many males. They also may not fight - my extra Ancona drakes just started ganging up on females rather than fighting for them.
