Can I incubate eggs that have been in coop for 8 days?

so I thought if I just let my hen collect her eggs she would eventually sit on them but that's not necessarily true I'm finding lol so I've been letting her lay eggs for the last 8 days and the eggs have been in the coop. Do you think I could still incubate them or is it too late?

Go ahead and try it. the most it's going to happen just they won't hatch. I think a good piece of advice is 7 days old.
8 days only one day more. give it a try, see what happens.

Thank you! I had a clutch incubating and I didn't realize the plug I had my automatic turner plugged into was junk. The outlet I mean. (new house) so now I've moved the incubator to an outlet that actually works and wanna try again!

Just don't start incubation (with a broody or a bator) at different days for different eggs within a clutch. Then you'll have a staggered hatch and lose chicks.

Ahh okay! I think she may lay 1 more tomorrow but I'm putting the eggs in the incubator now. Can I add that one last one tomorrow?

If it's just a day or less, it should be ok. Any more, though, and you could have serious problems.
