Hey Y'all! Another NC neighbor here. I'm Mark, I've been lurking on the forum for a few weeks, and you seem like such nice and fun folks!

We live near Pittsboro in Chatham County in a log home in about 6 acres of woods. We have around 25 chooks: a few polish, americaunas, welsumers, dominiques, and cochins--all under the direction of a stern but sweet-natured three year old game rooster.

I grew up on a farm in Virginia, and my grandma always had chickens. I find myself trying harder and harder to return to her way of doing things as I get older.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say "Hi!".

Welcome Mark we're glad you became a part of our family. We have the best people in the world on these forums. Yes we disagree at times, but we still love each other. You can't not love a fellow chicken lover. We hope you find all you're looking for in our BIG family. Wood home huh......hmmmm wonder if my hubby would miss me if I went on an adventure?
