So last night we had a nasty lil storm come thru, sometime between 11pm and 2am a huge part of the neighbors tree fell on the power lines(for like the 5th time

) knocking out all the power. Well with my luck I had one lil Bobwhite chick that I had had to help out of the egg still in the hatcher, well its now dead! Then i went and checked my bator that had 76 eggs all going into lockdown today and the temp is 62 degrees, so over $50.00 worth of eggs and ALL DEAD... I am soo mad right now.. I dont even know how my other newbies are as I couldnt even get into the barn to check on them, so hopefully there where enough of them to keep eachother warm... THIS SUCKS... All my coturnix colors that were for my breeding project GONE...

I guess I just need to

for my losses, then head home

Hey hey dont toss those eggs in the bator! I had the power go out and my bator was down to the 60s and 3/4 of them hatched!

Thanks for all the hugs folks... I am seriously thinking of sending the neighbors a bill as this kind of thing has happened multiple times now and the tree is very unsafe...
