I just got ahold of my niece and she said it just came back on.. Im still gonna try it you never know there could be some tough cookies in there... I gotta say the last few days have not been really good for the animals at my house... I have lost a Cornish x to flip. a cochin bantam climbed into a mason jar my kids left in thier run and died, had to cull a quail with wryneck, found an a&m that was weak to start had died, and had to kill a Mille de fluer teen that somehow broke its back.... My luck sucks right now..

So sorry. I lost five little duckies to an incubator crash last November, so I feel your pain.

Holding out hope for you.

If they don't hatch, can you get more chicks somewhere?? That's what I wanted to do, but it was the middle of winter and I couldn't find any ducks.

I guess a few ducks in the chicken housing wouldn't be all that bad....

Thanks agian folks.. You all are always there when i need a shoulder to cry on.. The ggod thing is I have about 50 Coturnix that are ready to lay and another 70 or so quail chicks so i wont be lonely.. Its just that these eggs were special as they came from ShellyD and Peepsandbunnies (who is in Alaska for the next three months) theses were for myself and possibly ATtackchicken and were reds, cinnamons, jumbos , Italians (

Update: So even though the turner wasnt plugged in the first three days, we had two power outtages(one for only a few hours the other for over 9), had 8 chicks hatch in the turner two days early, and almost drowned them all when I added more water after having to take out turner.. We still had over 30 hatch.......
