He was purple, it's really faded. I'm a dog groomer and dyed him purple. His name is the chicken formerly known as Prince. I wasnt sure how he would react to the dye job, but he seemed to really enjoy the attention.

I strongly recommend the Flock Suit diapers from Avian Fashions. They're not cheap, but in my experience, they are the easiest to clean and easiest for the chicken to wear because they are completely adjustable. I tried about 6 different chicken diapers. These are the only ones I can recommend. They are also very kind to a rooster's tail feathers.

I have had indoor chickens for the last 11 years. It can be done, and diapers will save you a lot of mess. This is me right now.

What do you do about the smell tho. Holy chicken poop I can’t stand that smell when they take a hot dump tho.
