Can I Keep Bantam Chickens With Button Quail?

I had no clue what to forum to put this in, sorry.

So not directly together, I have a coop, then the button quail are in smaller cages inside the coop. Could bantams live in there too? Outside the cages, so there'd be no possibility of the buttons being hurt.

Yes, they can transfer diseases to each flock. Separation distance of 20 feet between quail and chickens is recommended.

Okay, but there is wire splitting the coop, and they would be on different sides

They should be fine. If both the quail and the chickens are healthy and they're already living on the same property then you don't have much to worry about.
