Can I let my pigeons out if I received them from someone else

Just wondered if anyone had any advice.
2 months ago I took over care if some racing pigeons but moved them from the other person's garden to mine in the same shed.
And was just wondering how long if at all I can start letting them out and they will come back and not go back to the other person's garden

If they were flown at their old home and are of any quality, they will return to their old home.

Ok thanks so I'll just have them as stock birds then as purchasing new shed for them and once the chicks bug enough I'll Put them in the new one and let them out and fly them and have others and stick birds
