can I make my broody hen stop being broody

my hens have been broody and they have more eggs then they can sit on and there is bantam that i think is a rooster in there but i don't think the eggs are fertilized and i want them to stop sitting before the eggs go bad

How long as she been broody?
You can candle the eggs and throw out all the eggs that aren't developing. if none, are, you can put her in a dog cage with no bedding, only food, water and a roost for a few days or keep taking her off the nest and pull all eggs.

Gather your eggs every day and they will not go bad or develop if they are fertile.

If there is a rooster in the flock then some eggs are probably fertile.

To break your hens from being broody put them in a raised cage with a wire mesh floor for 72 hors. Give them food and water but no nest. 72 hours is usually enough but if some are still not broken put them back in for another 48 hours.

they have been broody for close to 4 weeks now

they layed a bunch of eggs right in front of the run door and there is 4 hens sitting on them.
