Can I mix Corid and nutri drench? Chicken’s not eating much

Thank you. I did mix electrolytes with it. Do you know why electrolytes shouldn't be used?

Also, now that she is asymptomatic, do you think it is safe to transfer her back to the coop/run with the flock? She started treatment on Friday afternoon. I am treating her for severe outbreak. I started treating the others for moderate yesterday. Maybe I should wait until tomorrow night??? That would mean 5 days of full strength treatment. I could do some supervised reintroduction then let her sleep in the coop. What do you guys think?

The other chickens have already been exposed to the coccidia, so putting her back with the flock shouldn't make any difference. It would make her happier and that can help her overall health.

Thank you. She does want company. She ‘boks’ sometimes, it seems, to get company.

I’m curious, though, about the medication. She is supposed to get 5 days worth. Tomorrow is day 5. Should I give them all full strength today and tomorrow, then moderate strength?
This is my first flock. So, I have a lot to learn.

If it's the drench dose of Corid you've been giving her, that is usually only for three days. She can now go to the drinking water dose along with the rest of the chickens.

Best not to use Nutri-drench when treating with Corid. Corid blocks thiamine, and Nutri-drench has thiamine in it, so it would cancel the effectiveness of Corid.
Any chicken feed has thiamine, does that mean the sick chicken cannot eat any feed as well?
