Can I mix different aged chicks in the same cage?

I have 4 chicks that are a month old and will have 6 new chicks that will be a week old coming in on Thursday. Can I put these ladies together, or will the older chicks pick on the newbies?

There will probably be problems if you mix them right now. The week olds will probably get picked on heavily. My general rule is not to mix chicks beyond a week in age difference.

I have 1 1/2 week old EE and just added 3 silkie bantums that are only a few days old.. The lil ones actually went after the bigger ones but settled quite nicely together and lay with each other! So I think they should be fine..

I miss read, I thought yours were a week apart, so I am not sure in that case..
