Can I mix my chicks

HI BACKYARD CHICKEN LOVERS !!!!!!! Hi i have 22 8 weeks chicks and 1 rooster and have 29 14 week chicks and 1 rooster. Today I down to do my chicken chours and the door was wide open and they were mix. There was no wounds on them. And for a weird question how high can they fly. I have a 5 foot fence.

Sure, just watch them. All chicks are different, and it also greatly depends on how much space you have etc.


As to how well they fly, it completely depends on both their age and breed. Some breeds are good fliers when young, but when they get older and heavier they are happy to stay grounded.

Other breeds, never fly much at all.
