Can I mix young chickens (pullets) that range from 5-8 weeks

I recently bought 2 sets of chicks and now they are 5-8 weeks old. Group 1 was my first group and they range from 8-6-ish weeks. Group 2 range from -5-6ish weeks.
My question is - I have 66 chicks and I am only going to keep about 40. Group 2 is in the main coop that will house the chickens I will keep for good. There are about 30 something chickens in each coop-yard. Can I start moving the ones from group 1 to group to group 2 and vice versa?

I think I would make a single move, and have the upset one time. I mean don't prolong it by moving 2-3 chicks today, another 5 the next time.

I would think size wise, it would be ok to do now.
