Thanks, folks. I have a Ply rock who is setting on her 1st batch. Free range, think she's been on them real close to 3 weeks. Have the hutch ready to contain chicks, predators aren't a big deal but why risk it, NOW KNOW will wait till the break shell to get them in the hutch…. Me running around with a towel on one hand and a kitty carrier in in the other, oh, brother….

If they're due to hatch at any time, I think I'd leave them at this point. I'm kind of a hands-off chicken keeper anyway, but I really don't like to mess with my broodies - especially around hatching time.
