I don't understand why you can't put them in your garage. I tried to have my first set of chicks in the house and it worked for two weeks. I couldn't stand to have them in the house. I put my new chicks in a barn that I have next to my house. I don't see why a garage or some covered building can't work. Baby chicks smell and make a mess. I don't like them in my house. The 4 1/2 week old chicks I have right now have never been in my house. Put the brooder box somewhere else and put your new chicks next to them instead of putting them in your house.
It's not that, we've all sold/placed them....I think it came across wrong/harsh by the way it was said.....I don't feel like dealing with this....just sounds like it was fun and now it's Not, that's all

This.
Mandy, I want to offer you my support in whatever you choose to do, whether it be to sell them or kick them out in the coop.
