Can I not change my avatar?

I keep trying to change my avatar picture, and I checked to see that I had all everything in proper order and went over the tutorial in the FAQs section a billion times, but it won't let me change the picture. Am I missing something crucial?

You can change it. It just seems tricky.

It doesn't seem tricky, really, it just keeps doing this halfway thing where I can see parts of both pictures in my avatar. I don't understand it.

Whoa, that last post came up correct. I guess it was just glitching for a while.

For some reason it just doesn't change right when you do it. That was normal!

Glad it's all good now.
