Can I out my Isa Brown chickens in my county fair?

I have a couple Isa Brown chickens and i wanted to know if I can put them in the fair. I want to put them in the Indiana Huntington county fair but i don't know if they recognize this as a breed since they are a hybrid breed. Any help?? Thanks!!

They are a hybrid, so no, they cannot be exhibited.

Edit: In light of further replies, I will change my phrasing: they SHOULDN'T be exhibited. Yes, you could show them, because county fairs often have little to no judging standards, and you might even win, but it wouldn't be any different than having your bird's names picked out of a hat. There's not really much point to it, in my opinion. With that said, if you acknowledge that the whole thing is rather irrelevant, and you still want to enter them for fun, I doubt anyone would stop you.

County fairs are generally much less regulated and don't even break down birds into classes. Typically county fair classes consist of Cock, Cockerel, Hen, and Pullet. Here in NW MO at our local county fairs crossbred/barnyard birds are often entered for show.

I think you underestimate the level of stupidity and incompetence of many of these county fair "judges". Our show is "judged" by the leader of a 4H Cattle Club from another county. She has no experience judging or even exhibiting poultry. I dont even know if she has chickens. She picked a mix breed cock as BIS last year. Go figure.

I'm not underestimating county fair judges. I know full well how incompetent they are. A Silver Laced Wyandotte one first place at the local fair, problem is, the bird was a Barred Rock. That's what I meant by not winning a title that means anything. Best in show at a fair means absolutely nothing.

Some of these people never cease to amaze me. Makes me wonder if I should even be bringing nice birds to these fairs. It probably isn't worth all the time and effort just to have my birds being beaten by a judge using imaginary standards. But, my point is, if some county fairs let crosses win, chances are they'll let the original posters isa be entered.
