Can I paint outside of coop with chicks in it?

This might be a dumb question, but we need to pain the outside doors, some trim, and an "awning" cover for a vent. Can we paint with the chickens in the coop, or should they be removed from it for 24 hours somehow? They are just over 4 weeks old now. The paint is just a basic exterior latex paint

It should be perfectly safe to paint the exterior of the coop with a latex paint and a chicks inside. If it is warm there as it is here the coop will probably be dry in about an hour.
 
Should be fine, especially if it's a sunny day with a breeze to help it dry faster. Still, if you're worried I'd likely setup a pen somewhere in the yard to contain them temporarily and have fun getting something else under their feet while I painted.
