Can I please see pics of roosts and laying boxes you have made?

Thank you!

Way Awesome. How long did it take you?

I had the benefit of help from my brother who is a builder by trade. Only took a day (total hours) for the coop. I built everything on the inside and the entire run by myself over a week.

That makes it nice! I am having mine built Saturday and plan on doing the inside by myself as well.

My husband build this nest box for me, the bottom drops so that it is easy to clean, it has a traditional flip top lid now so that I can lift it and get the eggs out. I have three plastic wash tubs in the bottom, with pine shavings. The hens can get in to the nest box through the circles cut out of the coop.

I have two 2X4s four feet long across the coop. They rest in these little cut outs, so I can remove them to clean them or the coop easily.

Lovin the chickens! Have fun!

I love your setup it's wonderful! Is the caged area under the counter a brooder?

I suppose it could be, but we use it for either an injury or new birds or if we need to seperate for any reason.
