if the temp is running between 85 and 90 here? They will be in the
shade. Or could they still get too chilly with drafts, etc.

Temperature wise they'd be fine. But you want a secure area, at that age they are hawk/owl magnets.

And perhaps create a wind block so you won't have to worry about drafts.
