So the title is the question can I put a chick 3 weeks old in with some other 3 week old chicks I have 2 Easter Eggers and a barred rock and I found someone selling some serama chicks I was wondering since their the same age would it be ok I only want 1 serama that's why I'm asking cause I don't want her to be all alone in one week they will be out with the flock any ways I know the serama are smaller but I also have some quail about 4 weeks old that may be more her size so what should I do?

Quail are not chickens.

The tiny serama would probably like friends her size.....not only now but once grown too.

Serama are not just small.....they are SUPER small.

I cannot recommend getting just one of any super tiny breed and adding to large fowl. There are just to many risks.

Ok so I should just get a couple, if i get 2 would they be ok with the larger flock when they're old enough to be outside?

I think researching serama chicken keeping is a starting point.

They are not built to handle cold winters and being tiny are prone to getting pecked to death by bigger chickens.

Grown weight is barely 1 pound. Compared to a 5-7 pound hen a serama stands no chance.

Hey i don't think I'm getting them we live in Ohio and the people we're getting them from live here as well but I'm getting 6 hens from a friend so then I'll have 19 chickens and my parents don't really want anymore after that but thanks for your help🙂🐥🐓
