Can i put in other birds?

I know that i am not supposed mix turkeys or guineas with my chickens, but what would happen if i put two pigeons in my coop with my chickens.

I don't think you are suppose to mix certain fowl together. It might be because of the poop. You don't want your chickens catching any viruses from certain fowl. Will they be caged or free in the coop with chickens?

im not gonna do it if its a bad idea but i was gonna let them be free in the coop
