I had my silkies together for a while with all my other chickens. every thing was fine as far as the hens getting along with them, but then I kept one of the BLRW roos my silky hatched out for me and when he became breeding age he decided to mate with his momma. Well he just about drove her into the ground, as he was soo much bigger than her and she would scream. I had to separate them as I was afraid he may hurt her badly due to size differences. He seemed he always wanted to get her just because she was tiny. I wouldn't keep a tiny chicken with a big roo.
